What is Gabby's Odyssey?
Gabby's Odyssey will be an imaginative action adventure for players of all ages.
You accompany Gabby, a brave young girl who is drawn into a wondrous world. Together, you’ll explore mysterious places, solve tricky puzzles, overcome treacherous traps, battle strange creatures, and discover a world as vivid and varied as a child’s imagination.
This nostalgia-tinged adventure may feel familiar — yet entirely new.
At least, that’s the plan!
We’re currently developing the game, which means the journey is only just beginning — and much of what Gabby will experience in the wondrous world of Larion is being created step by step.
In the coming months, we’ll continue expanding this website and sharing more insights: from characters and regions to the story, gameplay mechanics, and behind-the-scenes updates.

The game world
Larion is a mysterious world born of a child's imagination—colorful, wondrous, and full of surprises.
Gabby travels through five very different regions, each with a different vibe and unique challenges.
Each of these regions tells us something about how children see things: full of wonder, creativity, and sometimes shadows.
Why this game?
Gabby's Odyssey aims to offer a gaming experience that appeals to all age groups equally. Children are drawn into the imaginative world of Larion and embark on exciting adventures. Adults feel the nostalgic charm and experience the magic of earlier gaming experiences.
Today's games are often overloaded, very hectic, and too demanding.
We want to bring back the feel and comfort of classic action-adventure games:
tricky but fair puzzles, exciting action, intuitive controls, a lovingly crafted world, and an emotional story.
An adventure that adjusts its challenges to the players' skills.
An action-adventure that feels nostalgically familiar while also breaking new ground.
Our dream is to create a game with Gabby's Odyssey that will be remembered with warmth and joy in twenty years' time.

The people behind Gabby's Odyssey
Gabby's Odyssey is being developed by Animation Arts – a small, independent studio based in Naumburg, Germany.
We have been developing games for various platforms since 2004.
With titles such as Secret Files: Tunguska and Lost Horizon, both of which won the German Developer Award, we have made a significant mark in the adventure genre.
Most recently, in 2023, we co-produced the science-fiction adventure Monolith with Course Interactive.
With Gabby's Odyssey, we are breaking new ground. It is a dynamic, accessible action adventure that stays true to our narrative roots while appealing to a wider audience.
